Below you will find projects I’ve worked on either in school or just for fun. There’s a wide variety of work showcasing different skills of mine from scripting to illustration to photography. Check ‘em out!
This project showcases a simulation of a complex scenario using agents controlled by simple rules and little environment knowledge. These rules are based on Daniel Shiffman’s Nature of Code and Craig Reynolds’ boids and steering behaviours. This project was built as a Cocoa Application for Mac OS using Xcode. I also designed the spaceships, asteroids, and background.
The scene is set in space. A fleet of silver ships wanders the area and has to evade the pursuit of predators while avoiding asteroids. Group A is the fleet of ships (boids) and it is a flock that evades and avoids (blended). Group B is the group of enemy ships (predators) that pursues the boids, avoids the asteroids, and wanders (blended). Group C is just a group of asteroids that wander.
